TempJarTempJar (https://tempjar.com) provides free temporary email addresses. You do not need an account to create or reopen an inbox.
TempJar receives mail only. It does not send mail. Messages are stored until you delete them or an administrator deletes them. TempJar does not auto-delete messages.
Inbox access itself expires on a schedule, separate from messages: a ready (auto-created) inbox lasts 24 hours; a password-claimed inbox without a vault lasts 6 months (180 days); an inbox created while vault-logged-in, or later claimed into a vault, never expires. An expired inbox can be revived by claiming it with its handle and password (or through your vault) while its messages still exist.
Attachments are not stored as downloadable files; only file names are shown.
Anyone who knows both your inbox handle and its password can open it. A temporary email address is not a private, secure mailbox for important accounts. Do not use TempJar for banking, government services, password recovery for important accounts, or anything where losing access would harm you.
TempJar staff/administrators can access the system only to operate it (for example, to investigate abuse or a fault). We do not sell your messages or your addresses.
TempJar uses local storage in your browser to remember your open inbox. Google Analytics is used for aggregate visit counts only. Microsoft Clarity is used for aggregate heatmaps and session insights only, with Strict masking enabled (all text is masked, so message content, OTP codes, passwords and email addresses are not readable in recordings). No advertising tracker is currently running on the free service.
Delete an inbox or a message at any time from inside the inbox view. Block an address from inside the inbox view. Stop using TempJar at any time — no account deletion step is needed for a no-account inbox.
